A German outdoor furniture brand once rejected Shanghai Senturui's initial anti-bird spike sample. The reason? The spike base was slightly too thick, which created a small gap between the spike strip and the furniture surface — allowing small birds to perch underneath.

Most suppliers would have moved on. Senturui didn't.

The sales team asked for detailed feedback, including photos and measurements of the customer's furniture grooves. They then worked with a mold engineer to redesign the spike base, reducing its thickness from 2.2mm to 1.6mm and adding a flexible silicone sealing layer for a flush fit.

The second sample was shipped within 12 days. The client tested it on three different furniture models — including a curved bench and a slatted chair — and found zero gaps.

Impressed not only by the technical improvement but also by the persistence and transparency, the German brand signed a two-year exclusive supply agreement for all their anti-bird spike needs across Europe.

"A 'no' is just the beginning of a better solution. We listen, we improve, and we deliver."
